Sportsmans Park Wiffle® Ball Field of the Month

Our August 2015 wiffle® ball field of the month goes to Sportsmans Park in Golconda IL.

The field is 112ft down left field line with a fence height of 5ft...arch stands 15ft tall...center field fence is 125ft & stands 10ft tall....the fence height on left & right center field is 6ft tall...right field is 104ft with 5ft fence height. Bases are 43ft apart with the strike zone attached to back stop.

Fun Facts:  the arch bomb bonus hanging from the arch in left field.  Zoom further into left field to see the coke machine sign with the slot open for balls to go through..deep left center beyond the fence by shed..they have a porta potty named the..."drop zone"...center field light pole...bullseye above fence..and finger bonus above the scoreboard... All 5 bonus shots...if hit...count as a 2 run Homer & your team will receive an extra out that inning...except for the drop zone shot...it is worth 4 runs & 4 outs per inning the rest of game!

They host several tournaments a year!
