Description: This was an enjoyable hike in which we combined several loop trails to make an extended loop hike. We started on the blue trail and then took the blue-yellow trail to the orange trail which has a nice overlook. Then followed the orange trail to the yellow-green trail, to the yellow-blue trail , and then finally back to the blue trail which meandered slightly downhill back to our starting spot. The meander back was full of switchbacks, water cascades bridge platforms and traversed between impressive old stone walls. An overall interesting hike with varied terrain. First time hikers to the area make sure you bring the trail map as the trails are marked but some of the markings are confusing and some of the markings are on rocks on the ground which may be covered with snow or leaves.
